Greg began his life insurance career while a senior Economics major at South Dakota State University and has owned Williams Insurance since 1972 with partner, Roger Larsen until Rogers passing in 2002. He received the Art B. Mitchell Award as South Dakota’s Outstanding Young Life Underwriter in 1977. He has also served on the many Advisory Boards listed below. Greg continues to see the importance of blending business ownership with community involvement. He also enjoys spending time with his family, especially his 7 grandchildren.

Greg and Phyllis have been married 43 years and have three sons, Robb, a 1996 graduate of Notre Dame; Mike, a 2000 graduate of University of Nebraska; and Nick, a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame. Phyllis currently serves in the South Dakota Legislature as a state Senator for District 13.
